2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Brings The Heat

In the history of Chevrolet, there are few vehicles that made quite the splash that the Corvette did. The Corvette is nothing if not known for being one of the best sports cars that money can buy. Now, the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is taking it up a notch.

Game-changing handling

The racing game has officially been changed with this upgraded Corvette model. Where Z06 models have been known to overheat, the Grand Sport has just pure power. It’s wider with more aerodynamic changes, so it’s perfect for track use (or high-speed cruising).

Both the handling and brakes performed wonderfully, reported after testing. Top speeds do not intimidate this speed-demon of a vehicle! Racers will be pleased to learn that professional drivers have given this car the seal of approval.

Also, manual and automatic handle well over many factors. Miles per gallon are also reported to remain relatively high, even while driving at high speeds.

Joseph Auto Group carries many Corvette models. We have two Chevy stores – Joseph Chevrolet and Columbia Chevrolet – both in Cincinnati. While we may not have the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport in stock yet, we’re hoping we will soon! We want you to have the car of your dreams, so keep checking back.

Hyundai Veloster and Elantra Win Vincentric’s Best Value in America Award

2016 Hyundai Veloster - Vincentric's Best Value in America Award

The 2016 Hyundai Veloster and 2016 Hyundai Elantra have earned Vincentric’s Best Value in America Award, marking the fourth and second consecutive year the two cars receive the honor, respectively.

Vincentric is an automotive research firm that specializes in determining the cost of owning a car. Every year, it measures the cost of ownership using eight different key factors, including financing, fuel, insurance, depreciation, opportunity cost, fees and taxes, and repairs. It measures the vehicles that had lower-than-expected ownership costs and ranks them in the appropriate segment.

The 2016 Hyundai Veloster offered the “Best Value in America” in the sports car segment and the 2016 Hyundai Elantra in the compact hatchback segment. This gives you double the opportunities to purchase a great vehicle, whichever type of car you prefer!

“The Veloster has a strong history of performing well in our awards analysis, delivering a low cost-of-ownership package that helps provide high value to consumers,” said David Wurster, president of Vincentric. “The Elantra similarly delivers class-leading value, is fuel efficient and inexpensive to maintain, offering drivers exceptional value for the money.”

The Acura NSX Returns With A Vengeance

Acura NSX

In 2006, Acura ended production on the NSX. Since then, the automaker has been setting its sights really, really high. Business Insider reports that Acura would like the next NSX to compete with the Ferrari 458. In other words, they have supercar aspirations.

Sketches of the car give it a wide stance. It looks mean and it looks extremely fast. To be able to compete with the Ferrari, it’ll have to be fast. The Ferrari does 0-60 mph in three seconds.

There has been a lot of speculation as to the powertrain capabilities of the future Acura NSX. “For years there has been rumors of a V8 or even a V10-powered NSX. But the latest rumblings from Acura indicate that the likely powertrain for the supercar will be a hybrid electric six cylinder engine.”

Enthusiasts will not have to wait too much longer. It looks like the new Acura NSX will arrive in 2016.
